Community Fest 2010!

CommunityFest is a fun event that features live music, local crafters and vendors, games for both kids and adults, promotes local businesses all while raising money for local charities. The event is open to the public and is intended as a celebration and showcase of the community in which we are located.

An important part of this event is our raffle which includes prizes donated by generous local businesses including more expensive silent auction items. Raffle tickets are picked throughout the day and you need not be present to win. 100% of the proceeds of this raffle are donated to local non-profit organizations like Backpack Buddies, providing school supplies for underprivileged children and to Guns-N-Hoses, who utilize the funds to assist struggling families.

Food, Food, Food!

Be sure to bring your appetite. Several local food vendors will be selling delicious dishes all afternoon. Visitors can pig-out on pizza, hot dogs, burgers, and much more.

There will be plenty of food to please your appetite and satisfy your sweet tooth!

Craft Fair and Business Expo

We have many tables and booths featuring local crafters and vendors. Visitors are able to browse the diverse selection of wares, purchase items, and make important connections to local businesses.

Kid's Games and activities

We have plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, including games and activities like face painting, sand art, and much, much more. This event is truly fun for the whole family!

Community Fest features entertainment all day long. We have lined up both local and national acts throughout the day, including:

*Gospel for the Soul by The Mercy Praise Team

*Martial Arts Demonstration by Arodan's Martial Arts Team

*Rock-N-Roll music by Down to Earth

...And Much More!

Cool Demonstrations

Members of Streamwood's Fire Dept. and Police will be present with the D.A.R.E. car and K-9 Patrol. This is a chance for people to meet "Streamwood's finest" up-close and see them in action!

We will also have other fun things to check out, like a Karate Demonstration by a local Dojo and other fun activities. There is certainly a lot to see at Community Fest!
